The party flag (photo, photo, photo, photo) is composed of two horizontal fields of unequal width, blue above green, with the initials of the party name in white, centered horizontally just above the partition line on awhite field.
The emblem of the CDU consists of two trees, one in blue and the other in green, which represent an elm and and olive tree, respectively, with the initials of the party name below and the full name of the party at the very bottom. The meaning of the emblem is explained as follows in the party manifesto (text):
Elm from Mirko Banjević's poem and olive tree from Radovan Zogović's poem entitled "An Instruction to Olive Tree". King Nikola's elm, the noble tree of Montenegrin mainland, and the olive of Montenegrin coast. The message of justice and equity, peace and understanding, growth and prosperity, but also the message of freedom, of eternity and indestructibility of our one and only Montenegro.
The flag design is also used as an alternative logo (photo, photo, photo, photo, photo), revealing that it s proportions are about 1:2.
